WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!

I'm so amped for the Gone Girl movie to come out in October because:

- I Read the book by Gillian Flynn. It was awesome and creepy. She also had a hand in the screenwriting so it will probably not suck.

- But mostly because David Fincher is the director. He directed one of my favorite movies ever, Seven. Or Se7en, actually. Ugh, writing out Se7en feels stupid. ANYWAY, stupid way to write the movie title, but great movie. Hits all the marks of a good movie in my book: attractive lead, curmudgeony lead, brutal and unusual psychopath killer, dramatic ending. (For real, what's wrong with me?)

I watched Seven when I was really young, I wanna say 5th or 6th grade, because my parents kind of had a DGAF approach to parenting when it came to media consumption. Seriously, my brother and I were watching South Park (cursing!) and Baywatch (boobies!) when in, like, elementary school. I mean, Missy Elliott's CD, Under Construction, was a family favorite in 5th grade.

Don't hate on the parents though, they were probably just compensating for the amount of censorship we were subjected to growing up in China.

ANYWAY, CHECK THE TRAILERS:

Also, great use of the song "She" in the first trailer.

Very Fincher-esque. Fincher used a children's choir version of "Creep" for the Social Network movie trailer which I was also boned up about.
